The SAT is not an English test
It is the misunderstanding that costs the most marks. The Digital SAT scores Reading & Writing and Math on a 400 to 1600 scale, and in both sections English is the tool, not the subject. A solid B2 is not enough to read a dense ten-line social-science passage and work out what the author is arguing.
And the format has a rule that changes everything: the test is adaptive by module. Each section is split into two parts: how you do in the first decides how hard the second will be, and so how high you can go in that section. It is not a technical detail, it is a strategy: the beginning weighs more than the end, the opposite of Italian tests.

The method
How the Digital SAT course works
Official, supervised mock tests
At the end of each cycle, a full mock test on Bluebook, the College Board's app: the same one you use on test day, with the second part of each section changing according to how the first went. You sit it supervised, on site or online with your camera on, and then go through it for ten minutes one-to-one with the tutor.
Native or C2+ tutors
On a test in English, the tutor's language matters. Whoever runs the Masterclass works on the English of academic texts and on the constructions that recur in the passages, not only on answering strategy.
A small group, not a whole class
On the SAT every student goes wrong in a different way across Reading, Writing and Math, and the tutor has to be able to see it. With five, they can, in the same lesson; with a whole class, no.
The tutor already knows your weak spots
Every two weeks, a timed mini mock test on one section and a report with the numbers: score trend, recurring mistakes, progress through the programme. The tutor reads it before the next lesson, and parents see it on Up to Connect.

What we do promise
Not the result: that depends on you, on where you start and how hard you work, and no course can guarantee it. We promise what depends on us: a tutor who knows where you lose marks after every mock test, and a course that starts from your level.
Which start to choose
One start only: on site from Thursday 8 October, online from Wednesday 7, until mid-March, in time for the spring SAT dates. The 2026-27 dates are 7 November, 5 December, 6 March, 1 May and 5 June; registration closes about two weeks before each date, and we do it together.
The curriculum
The programme, cycle by cycle
40 lessons of an hour and a half over 20 weeks, two a week: one Reading & Writing and one Math. You start with an opening test and move through three cycles, each closing with a supervised full mock test. Between lessons you need about four hours of independent work a week, with homework deadlines followed by the tutor.

Week 0 — Opening test
A full, timed mock test in the digital format. It separates two things that look like one — how many marks you lose to language and how many to strategy — and shows where each student starts, section by section.

Weeks 1–5 — Cycle 1: the basics
In Reading & Writing, how to recognise each question type and which steps to follow, the written-English conventions the College Board asks for, the main idea and the first inferences. In Math, essential algebra — linear equations and systems — and problems with percentages, ratios and basic statistics. The whole group takes this cycle, because it is where you learn the course method; students who start further ahead get harder homework from day one. It closes with the first supervised mock test.

Weeks 6–13 — Cycle 2: consolidation
In Reading & Writing, the question types one by one: structure and purpose of the text, rhetorical synthesis, transitions and the organisation of ideas, the harder conventions. In Math, the advanced part: functions, quadratic and non-linear equations, geometry and trigonometry. Halfway through, a full mock test to do at home; at the end, the second supervised one.

Weeks 14–20 — Cycle 3: the hardest questions
The hardest questions across every area, time management and precision, with a full mock test every two weeks to do at home and review in class. The last week is a light review with no new content, and it closes with the third supervised mock test, under test-day conditions.

The start weighs more than the finish
It is the most counter-intuitive thing about the Digital SAT, and the reason preparing it like an Italian test does not work: the first part of each section decides how high you can go. FAQ
Questions about the Digital SAT course
Bocconi does not consider anyone below 1040 overall or below 520 in a section, and for Mathematical and Computing Sciences for AI it requires at least 600 out of 800 in Math. These are minimum thresholds, not targets: to be competitive you need to be well above them.
Yes, and on this the SAT differs from Italian tests. Each section has two parts: how you do in the first decides how hard the second will be, and so how high you can go in that section. That is why the course's full mock tests are taken on Bluebook, the College Board's official app, which works exactly like the real test.
Small by design: big enough for the tutors to follow everyone's working and correct you while you solve, and not one more. The same group stays together from the first lesson to the last, on site and online. If there are not enough students for a group, we offer one-to-one or paired lessons with the same tutors.
You need a solid B2 at least. Below that the Masterclass turns into an English lesson for everyone, which is not what you are buying: in that case it is better to work on the language first, with us if you like, and sit the SAT afterwards.
It depends on where you start from. If there is a big gap between Reading and Math, one-to-one gives you more, because it puts the hours where they are needed. If the two sides are level and the problem is the score, the group costs less and working alongside others helps.

There is no practical limit and universities look at your best score, so retaking makes sense. The Masterclass is built so you reach the first date with a competitive result, not so you prepare three of them.
In blocks of hours at the group rate: €36 an hour with the 12-hour block, €39 with the 5-hour block, €42 for a single hour. You take the blocks you need, not a whole programme in advance.
