Our story
A center born to make a difference
Up to Ten was founded in 2021 from a simple observation: tutoring, in most cases, doesn't work the way it should. A struggling student looks for a tutor on a platform, finds one, has a few lessons — and when the tutor disappears or results don't come, starts over from scratch. No continuity, no plan, no way to know if they're actually improving.
We founded Up to Ten to build something different: a structured centre with its own team, where every tutor is selected, trained and coordinated. Where every lesson is tracked, every improvement is measurable, and where parents no longer have to rely on word of mouth — they see for themselves how things are going.
From Milan's De Angeli area, we support students from primary school to university — from school subjects to entrance exam preparation. The approach is always the same: understand the student, build a tailored path, track everything in our platform, and measure results.

We believe the tutor-student relationship is at the heart of everything. That's why we select our tutors not just for technical skills, but for listening ability, empathy and method. Passion is contagious — when a tutor loves the subject, the student feels it in every lesson.
Rigour and selection
Our tutors pass a structured selection process and take part in an ongoing training programme. Solving a problem isn't enough — you need to know how to explain it. We constantly monitor quality through our platform: feedback, results, student progress.
Tailored paths, not standard lessons
Every student is unique — different goals, different timelines, different learning styles. That's why we don't sell "lesson hours" but build paths: with a defined plan, measurable milestones and a tutor who knows the student over time. If something needs changing, we see it in the data — not in impressions.
Technology in service of learning
We built two proprietary platforms because generic tools aren't enough. Up to Connect tracks every lesson, assignment and progress. Our test platform offers proprietary exam simulations on the real test format (IRT-adaptive for GMAT, multistage for SAT). Technology doesn't replace the human connection — it strengthens it. The tutor stays at the centre, with better tools to support every student the way they deserve.

Con un solido background nella consulenza strategica e la convinzione che la tecnologia debba essere uno strumento di potenziamento, ha progettato e coordinato lo sviluppo dell'intera infrastruttura tecnologica di Up to Ten. L'obiettivo dalla fondazione è uno solo: rendere misurabile ciò che normalmente si lascia al caso. Cresciuto con una diagnosi di ADHD, ha sempre cercato metodi che mettessero in risalto i talenti di ogni studente invece di penalizzarne le differenze. Questa esperienza è il motore dietro l'approccio di Up to Ten: percorsi su misura, strumenti adattivi, nessuno schema unico per tutti.

Con un background nella consulenza ed esperienza come capo scout, Anna Elsa ha costruito una visione precisa di cosa significa accompagnare qualcuno in un percorso di crescita: metodo, processi e tempistiche definite — ma anche la consapevolezza che il tutoring non è solo didattica. È empatia, è avere cura delle persone che si seguono nel tempo. Ha portato questa visione integralmente in Up to Ten, definendo il metodo didattico, i processi di selezione e formazione dei tutor e i criteri di qualità che governano ogni percorso. Recuperate lacune in materie scientifiche e latino
Up to ten mi era stato suggerito da un’amica e a mia volta, dopo averlo provato, l’ho suggerito ad altri genitori i cui figli avevano necessità di recuperare lacune in materie scientifiche, ma anche in latino. E’ diventato un punto di riferimento per noi. Anna, la titolare, è eccezionale come insegnante, disponibilità e professionalità, così come i tutor che seleziona e che seguono i ragazzi.
Matematica compresa in quinta liceo
Faccio lezione con Andrea da 1 anno, sono in quinta liceo: è molto bravo, è riuscito a farmi capire la matematica e soprattutto a spronarmi quando avevo poca voglia o convinzione. Consiglio lui e Uptoten a chiunque voglia migliorare a scuola.

Sono stati veramente bravissimi, in meno di 2 mesi hanno permesso a mia figlia di superare il test di ammissione ad Economia dell Università Cattolica partendo da delle conoscenze matematiche molto scarse. Every tutor goes through a rigorous selection process that evaluates technical skills, teaching ability and methodology. We select university students and STEM graduates, train them on the Up to Ten Method and the Up to Connect platform, and coordinate them continuously.
No, we support students from primary school to university, including international schools (IB, IGCSE, A-Level) and entrance exam preparation (TOLC, GMAT, SAT). The Up to Ten Method and platform adapt to every level.
Our main office is in Milan at Via Giuseppe Frua 21/6 (MM1 De Angeli). We also offer online lessons throughout Italy. Rome coming soon.
