Preparazione chimica per test medicina
Federico è sempre stato di grandissimo supporto, soprattutto in questo ultimo periodo, in cui mi ha dato una mano in chimica, per il test di medicina. In ogni occasione, mi è stato davvero di supporto, soprattutto nei momenti di massimo sconforto, mi ha sempre incitato a non mollare. Oltre alle grandi competenze in materia, mi ha fatto capire che la chimica, alla fine, non è così tanto noiosa! The context: Cattolica is among the most selective universities for Economics in Italy. Eligibility comes from a mix of TIEC test and school record; immediate reservation of your place requires a competitive score combined with a strong school record. Preparing with a structured pathway makes the difference between just being eligible and securing your place on the first attempt.
The strategy
The strategy: aim for the first attempt
Cattolica runs several TIEC sessions during the year: their number isn't fixed, but depends on the places still available. Reservation of your place (active in the first three attempts) works on score priority: whoever scores highest locks in the place first. In the early windows scores are higher, in the later ones lower — but when the places run out, it closes. That's why we prepare you to aim high from the first available session (typically February): more places available and your final exams to face with a clear head.
The point isn't that the threshold 'drops': it's that the higher your score, the more priority you have in locking in the place before they run out. You can't count on the later windows — if the places run out, they don't reopen. That's why the goal is to arrive with the highest possible score, and the whole path is built to maximise it. If you choose to retake the test, it'll be to push even higher, never a wasted attempt.
In your final year of high school? The first TIEC session (typically February) has more places available and lets you face your final exams with the admission piece already closed.

But passing the test isn't enough on its own to enrol: what matters is making it into the available places, and once they're gone you can't enrol. That's why we aim to clear the maths threshold comfortably and take you to a score that's competitive for the places.
