Fourth year
In your fourth year? There's the early TOL
The Politecnico opens the TOL to fourth-year students too: the same 65 questions in 100 minutes, at most two attempts, one per session. With at least 75 marks out of 100 your place in Engineering for the year after your diploma is yours, on the Italian-taught programmes (the English-taught ones also require a language certificate). And you go through your final year with a clear head.
Below 75 you lose nothing: you enter the ranking like everyone else and can retake the test in your final year. The early sessions fall between spring and summer: in 2026, 11 March to 31 May and 1 June to 16 July, and the 2027 calendar is usually published between December and January. The next Masterclass group starts soon: write to us and we'll tell you how it fits with the session you want to sit.
Fourth- and final-year students sit in the same group, because the test is the same: what changes is only what you can do with the score. The same goes for the TOLC-I: the Politecnico accepts it with a converted score, and in your fourth year you can sit it almost all year round.

Mia figlia Giulia ha seguito il percorso di preparazione al test d'ingresso alla Bocconi con Up to Ten, e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti del risultato! Preparazione chimica per test di medicina
Federico è sempre stato di grandissimo supporto, soprattutto in questo ultimo periodo, in cui mi ha dato una mano in chimica, per il test di medicina. In ogni occasione, mi è stato davvero di supporto, soprattutto nei momenti di massimo sconforto, mi ha sempre incitato a non mollare. Oltre alle grandi competenze in materia, mi ha fatto capire che la chimica, alla fine, non è così tanto noiosa! Practical info TOLC-I, TOL and TIL-I Masterclass
Two groups are already under way: the one that started on 5 October runs until 19 February, and the one that started on 2 November (on site and online, on Mondays and Thursdays) until 15 March.
The format
17 weeks · 2 lessons a week · 3 hours a week
Small groups
On site in Milan, at via Giuseppe Frua 21/6 (MM1 De Angeli), or online, live: the group is the same, and students online follow the same lesson as those in the classroom. Days and times are set when the group starts.

After the assessment, the preparation — full or partial on specific modules — starts with the purchase of blocks of hours.
Blocks are counted in hours, not lessons (e.g. 12 hours = 8 sessions of an hour and a half), are valid for 18 months from purchase and are non-refundable. Once the hours are used up, simply buy a new block to carry on with the preparation.
What we do promise
Not the result: that depends on you, on where you start and how hard you work, and no course can guarantee it. We promise what depends on us: a tutor who knows where you lose marks after every mock test, and a course that starts from your level.
When
Next start coming soon: write to us and we'll tell you the date as soon as the group is formed. For students in their final year the TOL runs in two sessions — in 2026, 1 February to 10 March and 11 March to 31 May. The 2027 calendar is not out yet. The TOLC-I can be sat all year round. In 2026 the Politecnico di Torino TIL-I had its first session on 19 February and the others between March and July.
The three tests
Same topics, three different rulebooks
The TOLC-I is the CISIA test, accepted by the Politecnico di Milano and many other universities. The TOL is the Politecnico di Milano's own test. The TIL-I is the Politecnico di Torino's admission test. The core is the same — maths, logic, physics and verbal comprehension — with different rules, timing and scoring.

At the Politecnico di Milano the TOLC-I counts as an alternative to the TOL: the score is converted into hundredths and must reach at least 30. The Politecnico di Torino TIL-I is taken in person, in Turin or Mondovì: 42 questions in 90 minutes, across maths, reading comprehension and logic, physics and basic technical knowledge.

Questions about the TOLC-I, TOL and TIL-I course
Because you study the same things: maths, physics and verbal comprehension are needed for all three. What changes is the structure, the time and the way marks are counted, and that is what the mock tests are for. With three separate courses you would revise the same topics three times.
The course still works, because the subjects are the same: what changes is the strategy, and in the mock tests we work on it for the test you are sitting. If you only need part of the syllabus, after the initial assessment you can follow just the modules you are missing. If you would rather have a plan built entirely around you, there is one-to-one.
Small by design: big enough for the tutor to follow everyone's working and correct you while you solve, and not one more. The same group stays together from the first lesson to the last, on site and online. If there are not enough students for a group, we offer one-to-one or paired lessons with the same tutor.

It depends on where you start from. If you have specific gaps to fill, one-to-one is faster, because the plan is entirely yours. If the basics are there and the problem is the score, the group costs less and working alongside others helps. If you are not sure, let's talk before you enrol.

No. Neither the TOL nor the TOLC-I is adaptive, so neither are our mock tests: they are the same as the real papers. What adapts to your level is the work plan between one lesson and the next, not the mock test.
Yes, and it is the right time: an early TOL of 75 or more secures you a place on the Italian-taught courses for the year after your Maturità. The course is the same as for students in their final year, because the test does not change, and so is the group.
It starts with an initial assessment at €75, done on your own before the first lesson. Then you pay in blocks of hours at the group rate: €33 an hour with the 12-hour block, €36 with the 5-hour block, €39 for a single hour. Yes, partial preparation is possible on specific modules. If the initial assessment shows that part of the syllabus is already solid, you follow only the modules you need and buy only those hours, in blocks. The choice is made together with the tutor, on the assessment results.
The Politecnico di Milano offers the Politest, exercises written by its own lecturers, and two self-assessment tests to download; CISIA has its own practice tests for the TOLC-I. In the Masterclass there are 14 full mock tests: 8 are marked together in class, question by question, which is where you see where you lose marks and time; the other 6 are for practising on your own.
