In your fourth year? You can already sit the HUMAT
Humanitas opens both rounds to students in their penultimate year of high school too: the scores count only for the ranking of the year you finish high school, and in your final year you can retake the test in the next two rounds. That makes four attempts in all, and the best one counts.
It means reaching your final year with two real attempts behind you and, if the score is already good, preparing for your Maturità with a clear head.
Fourth- and final-year students sit in the same group, because the test is the same: what changes is only how many more times you can try.
The energy of a group, the focus on each student
Working in a group builds a critical approach, comparison and strategic analysis: essential skills for tackling the test at your best. Every question is seen from more than one angle, every mistake becomes a lesson for the whole group, and the pace stays high from the first lesson to the last.
The small size keeps the attention firmly on each individual: the tutors follow everyone's working, correct you in English as you reason and build your strategy with you. It is this balance that makes the course effective and engaging.

Meet the tutorsThe Humanitas Test Masterclass is Up to Ten's course for the HUMAT, Humanitas University's admission test in English for Medicine and Surgery and MEDTEC School. It is 51 lessons of an hour and a half in a small group, three a week from October to February, in person in Milan and online, from €33 an hour.
Who the Masterclass is for
You want Humanitas, and a shot at both rounds
You can sit the test once per round, and the highest score counts in the ranking. A course that finishes at the end of February gets you ready for the first date, not the second.
Your English is there, pace and method aren't
You read and reason in English without trouble, but three sections, each with its own time limit and threshold, call for a strategy, not just knowledge. The group works when the level is similar and the pace stays high.
You're in your fourth year and want two scores in hand by your final year
Humanitas opens the test to fourth-year students too: the scores count for the year you finish high school, and in your final year you have two more rounds. A real attempt, a year ahead, is worth more than any mock test.
How the HUMAT course works
Small groups, the same group until the test
Dynamic, focused groups that stay the same from the first lesson to the test. Three lessons a week of an hour and a half, with two dedicated tutors: on Tuesdays and Fridays from 17:00 to 18:30, on Wednesdays from 17:30 to 19:00. In the classroom in Milan or connected from home, always live and in the same group.
Masterclasses built for the HUMAT
One course covers SA, BC and MP: you prepare every section for Medicine and Surgery and MEDTEC School. Each section has its own day, so none falls behind: on the HUMAT, one section below the threshold is enough to keep you out of the ranking.
Our own teaching materials and mock tests
A pool of questions, a test platform and teaching materials in English, matched to the real test. Developed in-house and constantly updated. You sit the 6 full mock tests from home, like the test itself: we mark five of them in class, and the last one is the dress rehearsal, with a written report.
Guided independent work
Between lessons, exercises and checks to consolidate what you have learnt and strengthen your strategy and time management. Personal feedback keeps you working on your weak points, session after session, with progress visible to parents on Up to Connect.

Super consigliati
Ammissione a Economia e Finanza Bocconi
Test d'ingresso Bocconi superato
Test d'ingresso Politecnico superato
Consigliatissimi!

Prices include
- Two dedicated tutors
- All the teaching materials in English
- Access to the test platform
- The whole pool of exercises and mock tests
After the assessment, the preparation — full or partial by module — starts with the purchase of blocks of hours. The mock tests are taken from home on the Up to Ten platform; the first five are marked in class.
Blocks are counted in hours, not lessons (e.g. 12 hours = 8 sessions of an hour and a half), are valid for 18 months from purchase and are non-refundable. Once the hours are used up, simply buy a new block to carry on with the preparation.
What we do promise
Not the result: that depends on you, on where you start and how hard you work, and no course can guarantee it. We promise what depends on us: a tutor who knows where you lose marks after every mock test, and a course that starts from your level.
The dates that matter
Lessons run from 13 October to 26 February, with a Christmas break from 23 December to 7 January. The Humanitas call for applications for 2027/28 has not been published yet. For the 2026 test, registration opened on 18 November 2025 and the test was held in two rounds, on 5–6 March and on 18 and 20 March, with the ranking on 30 March: for 2027 we expect the same calendar. As soon as the official dates are out, we will post them here.
Three sections, two rankings
The HUMAT is the Humanitas University admission test: 60 questions in English, with five answer options, in 120 minutes, from home. It counts for Medicine and Surgery and for MEDTEC School, but the sections carry different weights in the two rankings, and each has a minimum threshold.
440
points out of 960 from Scientific Thinking & Academic Literacy for Medicine and Surgery: 20 questions in 45 minutes
320
points out of 960 from Biology & Chemistry, for both courses: 20 questions in 35 minutes
440
points out of 960 from Mathematics & Physics for MEDTEC School: 20 questions in 40 minutes
20%
the minimum threshold for every section: fall below it in even one and you do not enter the ranking
A wrong answer takes away a quarter of the points a correct one is worth; an unanswered question scores zero. No calculator, books or notes. These are the rules of the 2026/27 call for applications: the one for 2027/28 has not been published yet.
The programme, section by section
51 lessons of an hour and a half, from 13 October to 26 February: 17 for each section of the test, each on its own day. It starts with the initial assessment, which sets your starting point. Every module alternates theory and practice on the real format, with timed section tests in class. The 6 full mock tests are taken from home at the weekend: five are marked in class, and the last one is the dress rehearsal.
Initial assessment · on your own, before session 1: your starting point
17 lessons · every Tuesday20 questions on the test
Scientific Thinking & Academic Literacy
Academic Literacy: reading C1-level academic texts in English at speed, finding conclusions, assumptions and flawed reasoning, recognising a pseudo-scientific article. Scientific Thinking: mathematical, procedural and visual thinking, data versus theory. Three section tests in class. It is the section that weighs most for Medicine and Surgery.
17 lessons · every Friday20 questions on the test
Biology & Chemistry
Chemistry: structure of matter, bonding, stoichiometry, solutions, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox, organic chemistry. Biology: the chemistry of life, the cell, bioenergetics, reproduction and inheritance, molecular genetics, human anatomy and physiology. With the English vocabulary of the test and two section tests in class. It carries the same weight in both rankings.
