The tutor has time to go over your mistakes
In a group of 3 to 5 students the tutor reads the steps you take to reach an answer, sees where your reasoning gets stuck and goes back over that point with you in the same lesson. You hear how the others reason and find out that the question you get wrong, three of you get wrong: the next lesson picks up from there. One-to-one, with the same tutors, starts from €55: you'll find everything on the pricing page.
Up to Ten is a test preparation and STEM tutoring centre in Milan, open since 2021: more than 800 students taught and 4.9 out of 5 across 112 Google reviews. Everyone who joins our team of tutors comes through a selection process with an acceptance rate below 15% and is trained in the method before going into the classroom.

The Bocconi Test Masterclass is the Up to Ten course for the Bocconi online test for the economics-area degrees (Law has a different test) in small groups of 3 to 5 students: 50 hours over 11 weeks, from 5 October or 2 November to the Winter Session, on site in Milan or online, with a tutor from our team who specialises in the test, at €33 an hour.
Who the Masterclass is for
You're in your final year and want an answer before the Maturità
Three lessons a week from October or from November, the test by 21 January, the result in mid-March. The Early and Winter Sessions award 90–95% of the places: you reach the Maturità already knowing how it went, with the Spring Session in April as a second chance.
The test counts for more than your school marks
Your average from the two years before your final one counts for 45% of admission, the test for 55%. It's 50 questions in 75 minutes: −0.2 for every mistake, −0.33 on the three-option questions, and below 17 out of 50 you aren't even considered. Here you practise nothing but those questions, three times a week.
You're a parent and want to see how it's going
Every mock test leaves a topic-by-topic report, and you can see it too on Up to Connect. You pay 12 hours at a time, €396 per pack, and you always know how many hours are left.
You've already had one attempt and it isn't enough
The platform has been open since 13 July and there are four attempts: on the application you choose which one to use. If your summer or Early Session score isn't enough, with the 5 October start or the 2 November one you have eleven weeks of lessons to retake the test by 21 January, and the mock tests tell you in advance how much you've improved.
How the Masterclass works
3 to 5 students, the same group right up to the test
The group starts with 3 students and is capped at 5. It stays the same from the first lesson to the test, on site or online on the same days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
A timetable built on the Winter Session
The Bocconi Test has three sessions a year and up to four attempts, but almost all the places are in the first two: the Early and Winter Sessions award 90–95% of them, and the Spring Session is left with 5–10%. The Masterclass is built on the Winter Session: it starts on Monday 5 October or Monday 2 November, three lessons a week, and takes you to the test by 21 January, with the application due by the 26th.
Mock tests we write ourselves, in the format of the test
On our test platform you sit the test as it really is: 50 questions in 75 minutes, three per screen with no going back, and the same penalties for a wrong answer. We write the questions ourselves on the format of the paper, and every mock test is timed, just like on test day.
The tutor already knows your weak spots
After every mock test a report shows, topic by topic, where you lost marks and where you lost time. The tutor reads it before the next lesson and, between one lesson and the next, sets you exercises and quizzes on the test platform on exactly those topics. Parents see everything on Up to Connect.

Two starts, both on a Monday: 5 October, with the last lesson on Friday 18 December, and 2 November, with the last lesson on Wednesday 20 January. The November group works through the holidays, except 25 December and 1 January. The same three days for the on-site group and the online one: you choose the format, the timetable is the same.

What we do promise
Not the result: that depends on you, on where you start and how much you work, and no course can guarantee it. We promise what depends on us: a tutor who knows where you lose marks after every mock test, a programme that starts from your level, and the truth about the hours you need — if you need more, we tell you straight away, at the same rate.
The dates that matter
The group works towards the 2027/28 Winter Session: test by 21 January, application by the 26th, results in mid-March. Each attempt must be booked at least 48 hours in advance and the final dates are subject to availability: book early. Rules and dates are on the official Bocconi page, our rates on the pricing page.
Bocconi Test preparation, week by week
Weeks 1–2 — Opening test
We start with a full timed mock test, 50 questions in 75 minutes with the penalties of the real test, marked together question by question. From the report it produces, the tutor sees where each student loses marks and where they lose time, and the following lessons pick up from the missing fundamentals, before the maths block.
Weeks 3–6 — Mathematics
Twenty-four questions out of fifty: the part that decides the score. We work on the questions that always come up, on the ways of calculating that save minutes, and on when it pays to answer, since mistakes cost.
Weeks 7–8 — Reading comprehension
Eleven questions on passages on a range of subjects, economics included: fast reading, trap answers, and deciding whether to answer or leave blank when time is tight.
Weeks 9–10 — Numerical reasoning and critical thinking
Six numerical reasoning questions and nine critical thinking ones, some with three options and a higher penalty for a mistake: −0.33 marks instead of −0.2. Here marks are lost to haste more than to gaps: we work on time, on how much to give each question and on which ones to leave blank.
Week 11 — Full tests and strategy
Full timed mock tests, marked together; the last lesson runs two hours, to sit a complete paper and mark it in the same sitting. We close with your personal strategy: how much time to give each question, given that they come three at a time with no going back; when to leave blank; which of the four attempts to use, and when.
What the price includes
50 hours of lessons over 11 weeks: 33 lessons, three a week of an hour and a half each, with a two-hour final mock test, in a group of 3 to 5 students
Access to our test platform: 14 full mock tests in the format of the paper and an archive of 1,476 questions, written by us, right up to the day of your test
Between lessons, exercises and quizzes by topic set by the tutor on the test platform; after every paper the report updates, and parents see it on Up to Connect
Everything is included in the hourly rate: mock tests, platform and our materials, written by us. Extra hours, if needed, cost the same, €33.
The only costs outside the rate are Bocconi's own: each test attempt costs €60 and the admission application €100

At the end of the eleven weeks you keep access to the test platform, with all the mock tests, until the day of your test. There are at most four attempts, never on consecutive days, and you choose which one to put on your application: sit the test when you feel ready.
